I've been working on this list since December 2019, and I'm pretty happy with how it's shaped up :)

Here's a list of Firefox extensions I use to make the web easier to parse: zacharytalis.com/documents/Rec

for folks wondering about Steam Deck preorders: yes, it's very predictably a shitshow

The people from mur.at are making a guest exhibition at #Reagenz #Graz around the topic of the "autonomous self". Here are two pieces by Daniele Pozzi, one is a flat screen piece with ever rewriting text, the other a feedback system with rotating speaker / mic. On site till Friday, but also online at autonomous.mur.at

managed to microwave myself some bacon today! last time I tried I had a full-on anxiety attack because of the texture... so avoiding that was preferable

@haskal *this* is 90% of why i never really got into ssb, tbh

the software feels janky, you have to wait hours for it to sync (and even after the first sync, if you don't use it for a couple of days you'll be waiting five or ten minutes at least for stuff to download), it monches a significant amount of hard drive space, the documentation on What It's Actually Storing is sparse at best, ...

plus, like, "100% of your social interactions are stored in a global immutable append-only log (and this is a design feature, actually,)" is Extremely not an appealing thought
